Pulled from “Eye Guy Crusoe” the 8th of the original Digital Sketchbook, “Crete Encounter” was found lurking in the background. At first I thought it was going to be a shipwreck but and zooming in I found that it wanted to be a submarine instead. Until this piece I always painted water on the surface level. I remember having a lot fun with this one. I imagined a cat and mouse game between two subs. As I was painting I put myself in the situation. I decided this underwater war dance should take place near the Island of Crete in the Mediterranean. I used a couple of my own favorite textures. A water drop texture and a metal texture. Who will win this epic fight? That is up to your imagination.  I hope you enjoyed this post.  Below are the previous three post of the original digital sketchbook and some other post you might like.  If you keep scrolling you can check out the gift shop to help support this channel.  At the bottom of the post is a spot to give this post a like and leave feedback.  Outside of that, be the best you that you can be and have a good one.
