Fall of 2015 I had an explosion of digital painting inspiration. During December I decided to do a 10 day countdown to the new year. On New Years day I decided to make these ongoing. Starting with a picture I took of my eye (gateway to the soul), I painted the next work based off of the Pareidolia Effect. I watched a documentary of how Salvador Dali’ first started sketching surreal animals by seeing them in the rocky Spain coastline. I applied this concept to my digital art and as a result, have an awesome digital painting tree.
