ArtCast Jenna Moreci and Buttercup Portrait Blocking with Color

 As I was harvesting a pool motor a Issac Arther video came on. I started to think about all the personalities that I listen to that help me grow as an artist. My mind was settled. I would do portraits of my influencers, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. The hard part was thinking of who would be first. In the month of November I like to focus on writing in the spirit of NanoWrMo. This month reminds me to script more of my videos, work on my story ideas and just push the limits on the words I can put to screen. With all that I do there is no way I could write 50000 words in one month. I just try to outdo last year. That got me thinking of Jenna Moreci. One of her videos introduced me to the NanoWrMo concept and got my but in gear to write more. So I figured she would be best suited for the first “Creator’s Showcase” portrait. On the Elvira Portrait I focused on Greyscale. This time I wanted to try to find the values working with color. The first three hours I spent focusing on shape, form and color palette. At the time I felt like this piece was leaps and bounds ahead of where I was at on the Elvira painting. Time will tell if that holds true.
